Bella', our Italian for Improvers course. You will learn how to talk about families,
professions and about physical and personality descriptions. You will be taught
how to converse about daily routine and weather conditions. You will also
practise the past tense when talking about holidays and shopping for clothes.
This course will include cultural topics and you will discover places like
Taormina in Sicily, Vieste in Puglia and the Roman sites of Tharros and Nora in
Sardinia. This course is aimed at students with some prior knowledge of the
Italian language, who are comfortable with day to day phrases and the present
tense, or students who have attended the Summer School course for beginners.

About Alessandra
Alessandra
has a very high reputation across the region as one of ourtop linguists
and Italian tutors. Alessandra has been a valued tutor at our Marlborough
College Summer School for over 12 years in succession. She enjoys Chartered
Linguist status with Chartered Institute of Linguists (CIOL) and also worked
for the prestigious Oxford University, the UK Defence Academy in Shrivenham and
she is an examiner for government institutions.
Alessandra
founded the Italian Experience Cotswold in 2017 and this company now runs
courses in Italian all year round and for participants across the UK. Her courses
at the Summer School are frequently sold out and this year -for the first time-
the Summer School boasts a week for advanced level students.
Alessandra
has taught for 24years in the UK at all levels, from beginners to
advanced. She has assisted in the editing of textbooks for Oxford University
Press (for the international market) and updates her training and linguistic
practice at the highly regarded DILIT International School in Rome.
