More breakthrough ideas and techniques to challenge
the artist to reach new levels of creativity in watercolour. Questioning design, colour
choices and techniques, the artist will be encouraged to try new approaches to
stretch their individuality and ability.A solid knowledge of watercolour techniques and drawing skills is
required. Suitable for intermediate and
advanced level of experience, but not beginners or those still needing to
master basic watercolour techniques.
A studio-based course, with art
materials provided for the artists use during the week, plus all reference
material. Artists will be given several
high-quality double mounts suitable for standard frame sizes to display their
paintings and take home.
We will cover a wide range of different techniques
to achieve exciting and effective results with watercolour paints.
Covering a range of subjects including landscape,
water and flowers.
Plenty of demonstrations and
individual attention.
All art and reference
materials will be provided for use during this studio-based week, plus several
high-quality mounts for completed pictures suitable for standard frame sizes to
display their paintings and take home.
Suitable for intermediate
and advanced levels of ability and experience, with a solid knowledge of
watercolour techniques and drawing skills.
NOT suitable for those with
limited knowledge of watercolour techniques or drawing ability.

About Claire
Claire works as a
professional artist, exhibiting mainly in the Southwest, Cotswolds,
Oxfordshire, Northamptonshire and surrounding counties. She paints freely in
watercolour and oils, and has added mixed media and the new Pebeo Fantasy Paints
to her range of workshops. She accepts commissions from companies, shops,
galleries and individuals at home and abroad.
Claire develops and
runs courses for all levels of ability for students, from complete beginners
through to more advanced and experienced artists throughout the UK. Her gentle
step-by-step approach enables students to produce first class finished
paintings in just one day. Claire runs regular workshops in Berkshire,
Northamptonshire and the Cotswolds. She tutors art groups, short-breaks and
holidays throughout the UK and overseas.
