Grab your passport, pack your adventure taste buds and let's go cooking 'around the world'. Throughout the week, you will learn to cook a starter, main and side dish from five different cuisines. You will also learn where different foods come from, knife skills, cooking techniques, including how to cook to maintain the health benefits of fresh ingredients, and how food works in our bodies. By the end of the week's taste journey, you are bound to have some favourite recipes that will follow you for years to come and help you eat well for life.

Course Notes

Throughout the week you will learn different knife skills; cooking techniques; how to cook to maintain the health benefits of the fresh ingredients; food provenance and how food works in our bodies.

By the end of the week's taste journey, we hope you'll have some firm recipe favourites that will follow you for years to come and Eat Well for Life!

We provide all the ingredients, equipment, cutlery and crockery - you just need to provide the enthusiasm! Children will bring home a booklet of all the recipes that they will have cooked in the week. Packaging will be provided for the children to bring home all the food that they will have cooked.

Starter - Tri-Colour Cous Cous and Salami Salad

Main - Spaghetti Bolognese

Side - Garlic Bread

Japanese

Starter - Miso Soup

Main - Selection of Sushi Platter

Side - Oyster Beef Udon Noodles

Starter - Mexican Quinoa Salad

Main - Chilli-Con-Carne

Meliny grew up on a vegetable farm in South Africa and believes we should know where our food comes from and how to utilise all its health benefits.
