505,509 TUTOR: Martin Wright
On this elite level tennis course, the coaches will work on a 1:4 ratio on court using demonstration, practice and feedback to improve your tennis skills and to take your game to the next level. Slow motion video analysis will be used to critically analyse technical aspects of your game. You will be challenged using the four performance factors, tactical, technical, mental and physical. You will learn to master use of grips, spin, movement, power, consistency and match strategy. There will be off court seminars to further extend this tennis experience and work on the mental side of the game as well as gym sessions focussing on the key muscle groups to strengthen your stroke power and tennis related fitness. Each player will receive a Summer School branded tennis shirt at the start of the course and an individual report to take home. There will be a tournament at the end of the week. Please note that attendees on this course must have competed in a minimum of 8 tournaments and numbers are limited to 12.
