446 TUTOR: Sonia Simons (Cookstars Mid-Wiltshire)
Do you love to cook and want to learn some delicious new recipes? Our Academy takes you round the world on themed days to learn new cooking skills. So, come on a journey with us from America to China, Mexico to France…and many more! During each engaging half-day session, participants will craft two to three recipes. At the end of the week, you'll receive a comprehensive booklet containing all the recipes, empowering you to recreate your culinary masterpieces at home!
All food preferences and allergies are able to be catered for.
Come around the world with us - with a different theme each day.
Monday Italian day
Start off the week with some firm favourites - a stuffed crust or calzone pizza with some dough balls with garlic butter.
Tuesday Indian day
Making a tikka masala from scratch with onion bhajis and naans as side dishes.
Wednesday Thai day
Make a Pad Thai as mild or hot as you like with spring rolls as a side dish.
Thursday American day
Make the ultimate homemade cheeseburger with a side of mac'n'cheese.
Friday Mexican day
Street food at its best - making burritos and quesadillas.
All dietary requirements are able to be considered, and most of the time adaptations made.
Sonia is the owner of of Cook Stars Mid Wiltshire - who provide cookery classes, workshops and parties for 2-17 year olds across Wiltshire. Sonia is just about to complete her postgraduate qualifications to become a Registered Nutritionist. She has also worked with food and health brands who are in the organic and free-from markets. She encourages young people gain new skills and techniques whilst also learning about food, and realising how fun cooking and baking can be. Her favourite food is pretty much any dish that contains noodles!
