369 TUTOR: Alison Shah
As an actor and drama teacher with over 20 years experience in the business, Alison will spend the week teaching you the process and core elements needed for screen acting. From auditioning to breaking down the script and finally putting something on tape.
We will look at a range of scripts to find the roles that suit the individual actor. Your tutor will help you understand the technical side of acting on camera and what to expect as an actor on set.

About Alison
Alison Shah has over two decade's worth of teaching experience. She is a trained actress, singer and dancer with extensive professional experience within this field, both on stage and screen.
Alison has trained pupils of all ages and abilities and was head of drama at the Art House of Theatre and Dance, She has also lectured at South Trafford College teaching B-tec National in Performing Arts and drama at LIPA 4:19 (Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts) entering pupils into both LAMDA and Trinity Guildhall examinations, with outstanding results.
She has trained in confidence building, child psychology and child behavioural management.
Alison is the co-owner of Yellow Brick Road Workshops, a drama, literacy and history company that works in primary schools.
