2019 will see another new set of destinations. As before, you will be taken off the beaten track to areas defined by, or possessing, a unique set of characteristics and a wealth of evidence of human occupation over the last five thousand years. Each day, you will hear about events, places, buildings, monuments, people, geology and topography, which combine to make these areas so individual and different. By the end of the week, you will have visited prehistoric sites, castles, houses with great collections of paintings and furniture, as well as gardens and villages. You will also discover some fine churches for their monuments, stained glass, architecture and incomparable settings. The areas you will visit include North West Gloucestershire, Cranborne Chase, the Welsh borders, North Oxfordshire and North Dorset.
