This course is aimed at keen hobby photographers
with advanced point and shoot compact or SLR cameras who wish to get off Auto
Mode and use their camera's exposure triangle of aperture, shutter speed and
ISO settings. The course will also look at histograms, focus modes, depth of
field plus much more. Please note that this course is only suitable for cameras
with manual control of shutter, aperture and ISO.
The course theory and techniques will
be well illustrated by examples of the tutor's wildlife, portrait and travel
images from his expeditions around the world. We will also have an outdoor photo session each day to take
shots around Marlborough College and its surroundings, to practise the techniques and theory covered
on the course. There will also be tutor
feedback on participants' images.
Please bring your own camera.
