Day
One - We will be getting familiarised with and confident using the phonemic
sounds in the phonetic chart.
Day
Two - We will identify, explore and practice the different vowel sounds and how
to differentiate between pairs of sounds.
Day
Three - We will be identifying difficult or challenging pairs of consonants
which impede understanding and pronunciation.
Day
Four - We will be looking at how to break down words into syllables and how
stress conveys meaning in English.
Day
Five - We will be looking at how important intonation is in conveying meaning
in conversational English.
