complete beginners and those with some experience of the language. Each day,
you will cover a different topic with related vocabulary and simple grammatical
structures. Emphasis is put on conversation in Italian and the discovery of
aspects of the Italian culture and its' cities.
Topics within the two and half hour sessions
include Personal information and Greetings; Directions and Travelling (hiring a
car, travelling by train, by bus); Booking into a hotel; A day at the market
and Eating out (restaurant, small bites and drinks).
From the flea market of Porta Portese in Rome
and other important open markets to some of the greatest fashion houses of
Milan, the course brings you both lesser known cities (Tiscali, I Sassi di
Matera..) and cultural highlights of this fine and varied country (Verona and
Costa Smeralda) plus how to converse the Italian way with gestures!
Sessions are fun, relaxed and filled with
role-plays that gently introduce you to the language. The cultural topics are supported by an array
