Vincent Van Gogh: His Art and Life

177 TUTOR: Jan Cox

Vincent Van Gogh is a hugely popular and well-known artist, little appreciated in his lifetime. We assess the many stages of his brief career, his keen interest in colour and technique, and the reasons behind his posthumous stardom. Key pictures include 'Sunflowers' (1888; National Gallery) and 'The Night Café' (1888; Yale University).
