Get Creative with Copper

104 TUTOR: Loucinda Nims

This is a great opportunity to create something of a larger scale from metal. This is a relaxed course that encourages you to play and be creative with the material. The tutor will start by showing you a range of examples of what can be created and demonstrating a few techniques such as shaping, texturing and colouring the metal before allowing you to design and create your own pieces. Previous examples include: copper leaves, dishes, birdbaths and flowers to name a few! The tutor will be there to help discuss your ideas and guide you through the making process. This course is suitable for all and a great introduction into metalwork.
